A presentation background is an important part of any professional-looking presentation. Changing Background Color in Impress

To change the background color in an openoffice presentation, first select the slide that you want to work on. Then, click on the background setup dialog and then choose the color that you want.

Adding a Picture to an Openoffice Presentation
